Description
This represents my first attempt to paint as photorealistically as possible, with a digital tablet and stylus. Yes, this is a painting, done with a digital "paintbrush", stroke by stroke. Completely hand-painted. Please view the duckling with the high resolution feature. Thanks for looking!

Margaret - Thanks for taking time to let me know you like my work. That means a lot to me! More duckies coming soon!

Juan - Thanks for the kind words! Nice to hear from someone who knows that this is really a painting and it took a lot of time and effort. I'm planning to start approaching print publishers and greeting card companies soon, once I beef up the portfolio a bit more. Publishers don't care how the image was created, mostly. Some still don't seem to know about digital art, though. Once you get a tablet your whole world will change! I promise! They make some decent cheaper ones now. A Bamboo might be good to start with. Good luck! Macs rule, btw.
