This is an excellent painting! The light is marvelous!

Bob Nolin replied:

Thanks! It's actually quite a bit wider, but I cropped it to fit a card. It was a gift to my parents when they retired in Beaufort, NC. Took only 6 hours to paint. One of those rare occasions when the painting seems to paint itself.

About Bob Nolin

Bob Nolin

My passion is Realism, especially close up, with lots of detail. Each painting is a labor of love, and can take from 20 to 75 hours to complete. I've been working full time as an artist since 2004, and attended several art schools in the early 1980's. My work has won awards at the local and national level, and has been published in "American Artist" and "International Artist" magazines. I live near Pittsburgh, PA with my wife, two teenagers, and a small menagerie of animals. Please don't bother using the email form. I don't accept emails from Fine Art America visitors. Thanks.
