This painting is a combination of watercolor with colored pencil. There is a subtle orange line surrounding the artwork, and underneath it reads "Outer Banks - North Carolina." This eliminates the need for a mat. A thick metal frame would accent this piece nicely. A great addition to your beach house, or a reminder of good times at the beach.

My passion is Realism, especially close up, with lots of detail. Each painting is a labor of love, and can take from 20 to 75 hours to complete. I've been working full time as an artist since 2004, and attended several art schools in the early 1980's.
